The usual setup time is anywhere from 4 to 12 hours depending on the size of the practice; however, if there is an immediate need for transcription, we will make sure everything is activated within 2 to 3 hours.

We offer different dictating options and they can use one or all three options if needed. We offer a free smart phone app, free phone-in service, or they can use a handheld device.

Yes, we can manually access any EMR/EHR system to add medical transcription directly into the patient chart and date of visit.

For the first week, all reports will be completed within 12 hours. After one week, the turnaround will be real-time (same day) since we transcribe as we receive audio files. If there is a specific need regarding TAT, we will create a workflow specific to the practice’s needs.

Yes, our IT department can build any type of interface to connect our system to EMR/EHR systems. Since this is automatic, there is no need for us to manually access EMR/EHR systems.

We charge either by the line of transcription or by the report type. This is dependent upon the workflow necessary to accommodate our clients’ needs.

Yes, we are able to transcribe from any file type including video recordings.

Yes, we follow HIPAA guidelines, and our online portal/app is HIPAA compliant.

Yes, we simply program the handheld device so it transfers all audio files to our HIPAA-secure platform for transcription.

Yes, from our portal, we can either manually fax a copy of a document or we can program it so the document automatically faxes after it has been approved.

No, a contract is not necessary to start our services; however, a yearly contract is available if requested.
